The KNOCK OUT BUDDY is on a mission to change the way we view used coffee grounds...
Sat in the office with the creators of the Knock Out Buddy with an A0 white board on the wall with the clear words...Lets get the Coffee Industry to ... and then in GIANT black letters "GIVE A PUCK" well as you can imagine, that set the tone pretty quickly, which was underpinned by the hashtag #CleverPuckers
We liked the provocative angles this casts and the simplicity of the design and functionality of the gadget, but most of all, the synergy with what we do here at Eco Roast.... The 'GIVE A PUCK' initiative is exactly whats required to get the coffee industry to start changing the way it views used coffee grounds. We want to support and promote the use of the Knock Out Buddy as it has such a broad range of benefits for all involved.

When I started working for 918 I undertook tasks such as filing, serving customers drinks in our coffee shop in Gillingham and answered the phones for orders / I would pass on customer queries to my supervisor. Now I deal with all customer relations from start to finish (such as listening to the problem & resolving it) I also raise invoices for customer orders and distr...

Happy International Coffee Day everyone. The International Coffee Organization has chosen a very special theme for this year’s celebrations: ‘Women in Coffee’. These are the women from Team 918, they are seriously awesome.
At the start of this year we introduced an option for our sister company which sells green beans to have them delivered in either a plastic bag or a Recycled hand made hessian sack. We thought some customers might like the option to contribute to the Coffee communities’ efforts in reducing waste.
We did not however think that eight months down the line that 90% of our customers would choose the handmade hessian option. We had to learn how to cut, sew and seal quickly but now we are pros.
The coffee industry is under fire frequently for its activities but the small things add up. With your help we have diverted kilograms of plastic going to landfill.

Do get in touch if you are looking to a develop your own brand of coffee or for any coffee based solutions.
